Description

Dedication for Roco aka ANIMATES . This image is a wink of eye to Frank Miller and has its masterpiece " 300. " The BD depicts the battle of Thermopyles led by king Grec Léonidas against the Persians. I am a fan but you already knew it. Paints on white paper (56x76). Thank you for the visit and comments. Oui, vous rend hommage fine à Frank Miller. Mais ce portrait a aussi Yves partout ("all over it," "in every inch of the painting," etc)...Ses côtes ("ribs") sont en profonde harmonie avec les lignes de ses ailes. C'est un « rush » des lignes, une cascade de lignes. Et ils se précipitent ("rush") du haut de la peinture vers le bas. Et ils enveloppent cet homme entièrement - alors qu'il émerge de ces belles lignes. Magnifique posture et mouvement du corps. Et sa tête est le seul élément vertical dans le portrait - un très beau choix. Merveilleusement composé (composition), et très fluide. Dans le même temps, il est féroce. Merveilleux hommage, Yves, et une peinture de première qualitée d'un guerrier.
