Description
The out-of-the-box version of Pauline in Poser 11 is not particularly attractive, but fortunately artists like Tempesta3d (here on Renderosity and on RuntimeDNA) and Brahann (on RuntimeDNA) are giving us characters for Pauline with much better morphs and textures. Pauline still needs more morph dials, but I do think that she has some potential. For those of us who remain Poser fans and don't enjoy working in Daz Studio, Pauline gives us an alternative to V4 (still my favorite) and Dawn. But what may doom Pauline is the lack of product support for her, because few characters, outfits, and morphs are being made for her. I will be interested to hear what others think of Pauline, and I am always grateful for your comments and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Well worth a look. I really like the half bra! The pose looks a bit awkward. Someone sitting on a bad probably wouldn't have her hip tilted forwrd that much.

I must confess that I didn't spend much time on the pose but simply used one by Zeddicus, who has made one of the very few pose packages for Pauline (thank you, Zeddicus). My main interest was to portray Angie's morph and skin. The only change I made to the pose was to modify the left hand to fit on the bed. But in defense of Zeddicus, I think that this kind of pose is not really designed for achieving realism but rather for highlighting a character's breasts, a goal which I strongly support.

Very nice... I still favor V4 as well, but in this image she's very cute, and has a nice bod.

I get tired of these gorgeous models. It's nice to see a character that is "average" though lord knows that bra isn't.

I agree about the need to see average characters from time to time. You may enjoy my earlier image "Not every V4 character is a supermodel" featuring an average-looking female with glasses and a bit of a weight problem. I have also spent a lot time trying to give female characters natural breasts that obey the laws of gravity. For some examples of realistic, non-supermodel breasts, see "Real breasts can point down", "The continuing quest for natural breasts", "Real breasts revealed", "Do you like my blouse?", and "Shower time for Maria - thanks Vyktohria."
