I worked on this to bring out more detail because of smoke from a forest fire to the south

And, aw, shucks!, didn't get the Lake Tahoe monster in the photo! Every large, self-respecting lake should have one! Apart from that, good work turning the smoke into haze. Keep up the good work (and keep your eyes peeled and camera ready - you never know when that monster shows its ugly head!). :-)

The detail is visible though the haze (I assume from the fire?), and it's quite soothing and beautiful, making this a special shot. There are pink undertones throughout. And the softness of the water and the hills make it almost a dream. A beautiful-hued sky too...A beautiful restful shot, with quiet sweeping tones throughout.
