The past three weekends I’ve been struggling with formatting. An eBook is kind of tricky, and that took a while, but I want to do a physical book too. CreateSpace is a wonderful way to do that, but going through the process of getting text and cover to work just right can be...frustrating. And in the process, I keep finding little things wrong with the text, too. I got my “Alpha” copy of the 9X6 trade paperback over the weekend and found stuff to fix, including the back cover, some alignment issues. And text. Good thing I held off on the ebook until Sunday night. Still had a couple of typos, but they’re fixed now (I’m sure there are others to be discovered.) But the “Beta” paper copy, which doesn’t have those three typos fixed won’t be at my doorstep until Wednesday. But the cover shouldn’t change. Unless somebody points out a flaw. Here it is. With luck, the trade paperback will make it to Amazon by the end of the month. Ish. The eBook came out last night.
