you made many ribbons of paint, like free floating ribbons of light. It's so free. And your tones---deep purples upfront, next to those deep earthen reds and browns (the rocks), with the blues and green-blues in the water, and those pink-tinged wave caps, and the beautiful pink-yellow sky---it makes a big, beautiful, soft and restful vision. There's definitely a pink undertone to this, which softens the natural harshness of waves. And the foreground breaks up all that wave-activity into a real opening of space (and sand), with more of those 'ribbons' trailing off to the bottom...Beautifully done. I look forward to seeing more. It's so fresh, Helle. And such beautiful colors.

You have conveyed just the right motion and sound with your painting. I can hear the surf, smell the salt air, and it's every bit as mesmerizing as being there in person. Beautifully done!

WOW!!!!! Just WOW!!! I ditto the previous comments. And I must say this has so much subtlety in the colors I really thought it was an oil painting.
