Now that's a strangely redundant set of fencing; I am kind of surprised that they left the picket fence after installing the steel bars, but maybe they can't "see" the steel bars and are just looking at the old wooden one. Or maybe they're lazy. Great find and a super shot!

HA! It seems the neighbor didnt mean it was enough with an old wooden fence :-) Looks like it is about time to remove it :D Yes great shot :)

Re Denise, maybe the picket fence is for another property, or maybe it's for another part of one property: It looks like it's meant to guard a different section. In any case, lots of fine decay; and the shot, compositionally, is very rich. Reminds me of your padlock shots: You got a few angles in the lawn part, you got a different angle with the white car, another with the darker one, an intruding wall on the left side, a house and wall in back---a real potpourri of angles and juttings: I really like that. And those metal bars are almost comedy behind that beat-up fence. Lotta stuff going on here, harry! Love the skewed music, and that you took the shot to begin with. Your eye was keen on that New Years Day for sure! (And you got four 1's in that date...)
