after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.

p.s. not sure how high of a res pic i'm using for this page. take care and thanks a million you all.

Wow, I love the renders dual use. Reproducing the same render in her hand and skewing its perspective is so cool and creative. Really a fine job from a fine mind. Hope you get your car out soon. We missed the snows big punch and just got the wind and cold. Much easier to deal with than stuck cars and deep snow.

A superb image with great colors and props. Sorry to hear about your storm but what a perfect excuse to not go to work. I will send you some of our heat as it is very hot here today 34 C so we are melting.

i heard about your storm, it was huuuuuge, and I'm surprised anyone even went to work, after that. I really like this image as a response to it: You used old theater images---a tragic mask and a fool/jester---to convey the stun and fatigue of what you all just went through. And you wove haunting faces into the background---very well done, Steve---in halftones and some strong reds. And I love the checkerboard motif, esp in the way you repeated it in her outfit. And the metallic purples and yellows...And you have a bit of 'art-within-art', with that copy of the image in her hands: Very clever! She definitely captures the feeling one gets after a huge storm. A very inventive and well done piece, Steve, with fine color schemes, light, and concept...

A wonderful Mardi Gras render, Steve! As always, you've expertly chosen the perfect color palette for this - dynamite art once again!
Hope you're able to dig out soon, buddy. I've been seeing on the news how bad the snow is there. We were supposed to get it here, too, but it never came.
Slowly getting caught up....
