Music Six months after the first invasion of the machine race Paklet on Earth. The United States is slowly fracturing after the destruction of Washington D.C., with several states splitting from the union and becoming "soveriegn" entities. The European Union also is on the verge of collapse, with China and the Russian Federation taking advantage and forming a new Eastern Bloc. In the Middle East, Israel joins forces with Arab nations to fortify the region against the Paklet surge. Australia and New Zealand are overrun, becoming Paklet "colonies." Africa is slowly being encroached upon, but several nations have allied and are fighting back. The Melani colony on Mars is lost, and its former occupants have joined their bretheren on Earth. Major Kei Otono assumes temporary command of all Melani Earth forces. Light years away, the Melani homeworld of Hiraaj is under siege from the Paklet, unable to send reinforcements to Earth. Their enemies, the Hux, have not been heard from. Speculation of being the victims of genocide, or allying with the Paklet, runs rampant. The fate of several off-world Melani colonies is unknown. **** Posting this now just in case I have problems rendering later. Twice before, DAZ Studio couldn't render this image. It had to optimize 100+ images in both instances. I then did a simple render of a Genesis 2 character, which came out fine.
