Description

First asset finished for my next assessment...whew ! ...only have to make another 4 or 5 custom objects for this one...sheesh ! LOL Modelled in 3ds Max 2014, textured with Photoshop and Ddo, about 7000 polygons, but I might use a denser mesh for the game level, as it is a FPS view and the gun needs to be pretty high-res as it fills a fair bit of the game screen. A few test renders to make sure it's works with different programs and I'm pretty happy with the results, what do you think ? Cheers jif3d :o) p.s. you'll notice a higher polygon count than the 7000 I mentioned, as there is a hidden layer of a FBX weapon import form Unreal Engine 4, which I used as a guide for trigger, reload and hand positions for when I need to import it into the game.

Very nice piece. I particularly like the venting along the chamber... I have a few characters that I could imagine carrying that piece if your lovely red-head doesn't take to it 😀

So do you end up top loading the denser polys on the sides that you're likely to see in game (i.e., the top)?

Excellent modeling man, a mean looking weapon, great job. Looking to add to my weapons stash myself, love to get a hold of an HK Mp5 but it ain't exactly legal,

Wow, you have been busy and what a great looking gun you have come up with, if a gun can ever be great looking, but you know what I mean. Excellent renders using the gun too. Very impressive work. 😄

Toys for boys ! ... and one gal ... 'S.E.O.' ? (sexy, enterprising officer) maybe ? LOL

That must have taken hours and hours, nights and days of work there for you, to build a 'THING' like that from scratch [not a Dr. Seuss - THING] but, it was well worth it in the end... 😋

Cheers BB
