Description

The Paklet (BEO2K10 V2 and variants) © Mestophales and Sequestrian ***** When it was first known in 2010 that the alien fox species Melani had taken up residence on Mars, Simone Robinson was not among those who took offense. Instead of seeing the Space Foxes as "Conquerors of Mars" she saw them as perhaps saviors of the human experience. If humans gave the Melani a better benefit of the doubt, she thought back then, imagine the leaps and bounds humanity would have made! Space travel and colonization within a lifetime instead of several! A way to secure the future of humanity should efforts to reverse the tide of climate change failed, or unable to withstand the effects of a colliding asteroid! As it always seemed to be the case with high hopes, disillusionment brought them back crashing to Earth. The Space Foxes brought diplomatic baggage of their own with their perceived haughtiness towards humans and a long-standing conflict with reptiles known as the Hux. The Hux claimed they and the Melani peacefully shared Hiraaj, until the Melani decided to banish them into space. The Melani, on the other hand, denied any peace existed. The Hux came to Hiraaj after the Melani did, and sought to conquer the foxes, and succeeded for a while. That dispute led to a limited war between the Melani and Hux on Earth. Humans were more or less in the middle, and growing more disdainful of any alien. A later retreat by the lizards eased things a bit, only for the machine race Paklet to arrive a year later and start the vicious cycle over again. While Simone's faith in the Melani wasn't so blind during the darker days of the Paklet invasion, she still felt that working with the Melani was better than trying to stand against the Paklet alone. ***** Angelina (left) based on Genesis 2 © DAZ, EJ Estrella © EmmaAndJordi; Miss Ivy makeup © OziChick Nova Hair © Aeon Soul ArtemisX for Genesis © ElorOnceDark & Xenic101 Simone (right) based on Victoria 3 © DAZ Cree outfit and weapon for V3 © Bobbie25; texture © Freja Base poses © DAZ Destroyed City and rubble prop from Warzone landscape © The DigiVault A.M.S RT-05 © Jack Tomalin Traffikar & Traffikop © Deci6el Greeble City Blocks 3 © Stonemason Dystopia Skydome © Ajax, Billy Home, and Moebius87 Art © Wesley Brown February 5, 2016

Great scene (image and story) as it shows that all are not so closed minded to the world and are willing to work together.
