Mood, lighting, texture...all perfect. AND you portrayed him accurately in terms of keeping that finger off the trigger until he's ready to fire (in this case, he can't obviously, but the principle is drilled in and become habit).
The expression on his face sells it. Above anything else.

Thank you. Yeah, I'm a prior US Army infantryman. Little things like a finger on the trigger really bug me. :)
