Description
Hello Rendosians !
It is a long time since my last paint. So here is a speed paint (about 2 hours ) inspired by Carnival.
A Fleckli or Flecklashexe or Flecklasmann is a witch or a sorcerer typical of Franconia, the northern part of Bavaria (Germany). They appear in the streets on Fat Thursday (Unsinnigen Donnerstag) and go from bars to restaurants. They chase children with their brooms.
Their name comes from the german word "Flecken" that means spot, because of their spotted costumes.
This Fleckli comes from Spalt (Bavaria) : you can recognize him because of the colors of his costume (white, black and red)
Have fun !
Hugs
Virginie
