Since this is about my life as an artist, I shall start there. My Father always said I started drawing long before I could walk. I know I have been drawing and painting as long as I can remember. I was blessed to have a Master Printer for a Father, so I was introduced to the world of commercial art at a very young age. By the age of 10 I was making my first money designing custom logo illustrations, and have never stopped.BIOObviously, my roots are in the traditional arts. Digital Art is a brand new vista for me and I have only been working in this medium for the past year, year and a half... I am enjoying the adventure!
What other fields have I delved into? My other love is the theatre and music. I have travelled around the globe as a professional singer for many years and have loved every minute of it, though I have always taken my art along with me. My favorite music you ask? Why, Jazz! *smile* I have also travelled around the globe as a member of a dance company. What kind of dance? I have been involved in a number of dance companies, mainly ballet and I had the honour of being a lead dancer in a mexican folkloric dance company.
Training you ask? I have attended Art School. I have college degrees in the following fields: A major in Art & The Arts, with minors in Dance and the Culinary Arts.

Very Maxfield Parrish. altho your edges look a little jaggie, perhaps a higher resolution or less JPEG compression would help. The drop shadow on the wings and curly things looks odd, like she's sitting in front of a big painting. Overall good color, you might want to blur the background a bit to soften it. IMHO Jon

It is very well done. I particularly like the way your figure and the brush/weeds stand out against the sky. Nice work.
