Description
Captured back on 5/14/10, early in the morn, somewhere within the vast regions of the neighborhood.
It's been a struggle, but I'm back, at least for now, to offer this hastily created, semi belated holiday offering for the year. Almost forgot about it myself, which would have been inexcusable.

because I'm skipping, you know the procedure...the fact that I skip images doesn't mean they're any less beautiful; I just have to pick representative samples of your many styles. And, as I've said before, I see everything, so you know I've not missed a shot. (If I left shorter comments, skipping wouldn't be an issue...but shorter comments don't seem to be on the table for me, unfortunately...)
A stunning flower shot, sterling, with a low pov allowing the blooms to appear at the top of the flowers, and the petals to dominate the rest. Beautiful handling of light and shade; and that black background---in the upper 2/3 of the shot---is perfect backing to the light and hues in the flowers themselves. Beautiful shot for the holiday, but also just by itself. And, as this was just after your return from surgery, I'm very glad it all worked out so well.
