Description

I read on the net this morning that Navajo code talker (World War II hero) in his 90's had to move out of his house because of the terrible condition. the great thing was volunteers fixed his home so he could return

Great capture Richard. Looks like you are using something close to a fish-eye lens for this shot. When we worked on the Navajo Reservation in 2003-4 we had to deal with a Navajo Code Talker who lived in Lukachukai. I wanted to take his picture, but our specific instructions were as many pictures as were needed to document the historic water uses, but nothing personal. I got to see a lot of their culture one doesn't see when driving through the reservation on the paved roads.

A fantastic shot of the canyon, Richard! And a great story about the wonderful thing they did for that Navajo veteran.
