Description
This Norah Wellings sailor doll was rediscovered by us whilst ferreting around in the roof space. They were made as souvenirs for ships of all sorts. This chaps cap says HMS Victory, and I was given it when I was about 3.

What a marvelous little artifact. Definitely one to keep. I looked up HMS Victory and found it was an 18th century Ship of the Line and today is a museum ship in Portsmouth.
