Lovely image, nice handling of the wings. Lilith, perhaps?
Reminds me of attending synagogue in my 20s to discover more about my Jewish heritage. I was interested in finding out more about the Talmud, but the Rabbi thought I was interested in the Qabbalah. "Hebraic Literature" with translations from the Talmud, the Midrash and the Kabbalah is available for free from Google Books, it was published in 1901 or around then. Of course, there's a lot more Kabbalah in English than there is Talmud. For people interested in the Occult I can suggest http://www.amazon.com/Adventures-Google-Books-Magic-Occult-ebook/dp/B00B5ONLU6/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1455875201&sr=1-1&keywords=stephen+henry+huff+occult
