Description

Anyone who follows my images probably knows I'm a long time Citroen fan and my favourite is the original Citroen DS, I guess you'd call it my dream car. So what we have here is Alain and Eric's excellent Citroen DS model that is available in their Nationale7 store here. Thanks for looking, Mike.

I know many people find them appealing and according to Mike Brewer they were a quality car. I never cared for the design, but your render is very realistic

Thanks Richard, I guess what you have to have in mind is that this car in it's early form came out in 1955 and very few cars at the time could beat it for road handling and aerodynamics. This car also saved the life of French President de Gaulle when his DS was shot up but still able to drive at high speed with punctured tyres due to the suspension on this car.

Another superb render. I have had "some" Citroën in my life : a Traction, a 2CV, an Ami8 "break" ( that was its name in France ), a GS, a ZX and now we have a C2. The Traction and the DS ( designed by Bertoni ) were a kind of shapes design revolution!

A wonderful line up of cars my friend a I think you wish you still owned all of them. I have had a GS, ZX, BX, Xantia and my XM. A DS and Traction would be in my garage if I could have them and a GS or Ami as my daily car.

I could be cheeky and say you stole the front page off a period Citroen brochure.. BUT, I know better!.. It would be the other way'round.. Another awesome render...I have it, but cant get it to look as good as you have done with it here, by a long way!
