Description

Lake Tahoe---and it's every bit as blue as you see here. And, yeah, I killed my camera. I was in Oregon, walking down a sandy, rocky beach to get some shots of one of the Megler Bridges. I was so focused on the shot, I wasn't watching where I was going and tripped on some rocks. I went down face first, my camera went in another direction, and the batteries scattered all over the place. The camera injuries were fatal--a cracked screen, dented lens frame and banged up body. So, it's off to the camera store!! I'm actually pretty excited; we'll see what I end up with!!

This is really pretty. Funny how accidents happen just when you are thinking about a new camera. {;-> Interested to see what you get.

This is so gorgeous!!! I sure hope you did not break your nose....but I supposed that would mean a new camera was even more needed in order to comfort the injured. :)

I see your memory card survived the incident & you got a great last shot out of your doomed camera. Having lived in the SF Bay Area for over 30 years, I used to spend a lot of time in Tahoe & have many fond memories, though it's gotten very developed, very crowded & very expensive over the years...
