Ultra Fractal 5.04. Colour makes a picture. Of course it does. Without colour (light) there could be no picture and we'd probably be too busy "bumping" around for it too be much of a priority. But changing the colours within a picture can also have an effect. Here is a diminutive example. Placing the red on the funnel has it shouting at you, and moving the dark blue upwards on the right side makes the overall impression more logical. Green remains the dominant colour but I've taken the chance of a little subtle fun. The blue in the centre would mix (in the traditional sense) with the pale yellow below to make a shade of green and thus make for continuity of idea. Why such a pale yellow? The colour block to its right provides the answer. For better or worse some deliberate effort has been made to improve the unity of the picture by playing only with its colour relationships. UF, and its colour gradient, offers an extraordinary degree of control. My apologies if all this bores you. Cliff.
