Description
Have you ever heard of a toothless T.Rex? No? Well, now you have! Had a wisdom (wisdom? Call it fool-dom!) tooth and a molar removed yesterday, left lower side. It's the FIRST time I've felt pain from the needle, and the first time I have felt the ache once the anesthetic wore off.
Answer to the question what my previous post was. Several got it ALMOST correct. It's "Cup Of Soup" chicken soup with broken pieces of rye crisp bread on top. Several of the pieces stood on end (the soup was THICK), inspiring me to take a "water - landscape" type of photo. It was dinner after my first tooth was removed last week (I felt NOTHING). Not feeling something's wrong is NOT good. Had I felt pain, I'd have caught the problems early so I could have had the teeth saved. On Tuesday 2 more are being pulled, then 3 are to be repaired. Sigh. What am I to live on the rest of my life? Soup and yogurt? Imagine a T.Rex living on THAT?!
The evening before, I went to the Swedish national book sale with a colleague to buy some books, then we stopped in at another store. When we said good bye, she stuck this little critter into my hand. Any bids for what this cute little fellow is or where it comes from?
Krittermom - any bids?
:-)
Enjoy!

Yes Michael, you got my attention on this one. I have several of these little fuzzies. It seems that people like to buy them for me. There again, sometimes I develope a need for something fuzzy that I don't have to let go. So, I will post one of my fuzzies. He sits on my computer to keep me company. Maybe your fuzzy and mine can meet some day!

Yep, It's a "Monetary" owl, usually seen sporting round rimmed spectacles and using that pen to write in an accounts ledger. Looks like he has spent too many hours in the office and has clearly taken "something" to stay awake. He comes from Brussels of course!

Well, I haven't seen a 'hooter' this delightful in a while! :-D
What a fun little companion to sit on top of your monitor!
Ugh - sounds like you've had a rough time, my friend! And I'm reminded that I need to go have a tooth fixed soon. Will probably entail a root canal and crown. Ugh. What hurts most is the cost.... :-P
Hope you feel better soon.. BTW, Campbell's chunky sirloin soup poured over mashed potatoes is great for after-the-dentist dining...

Thanks for the comment - particularly about the food after dentist's visit!

What a (literal) eye catcher, Michael! Looks a bit like an upset owl, but so very sweet and lovely.
