As I walked to my office, I was struck by how quiet it was....but then, it was late, everyone had gone home. Alone with my thoughts, my head was filled with the image of Colin, what could have done that to him ? It had to be stealthy, he was only a few steps behind me and I'd heard nothing, it had to be fast too, not giving him time to cry out. Now the conflict began, my brain, wanting me to remember something important, tried to push the image of Colin aside, it had almost succeeded when I realised how tired I was. An image now began to form of my lovely, comfortable bed....my brain tried to shove Colin under the bed to make room for the more important memory. Unable to fit him under the drawer divan, it folded him in half and squeezed him into the bottom drawer of my bedside cabinet, just as I entered my office.Flicking on the light, I crossed the room, I was about to switch on the desk lamp when I became aware ...I was not alone. I turned to see a figure which had been concealed behind the door as I'd entered. " Good evening " I offered. There was no reply, the figures right arm came up to point a huge 8" Colt's Python at my head, this turn of events was the straw that broke the camels back. Unsure what to do with a crippled camel, my brain gave up it's struggle, sat in a sofa and awaited developements. Looking down the barrel of the hand cannon I asked " Have I upset you somehow "? raising my arms, again no reply, just the metalic click of a hammer being cocked. For years I've had recurring dreams where my demise has come at the hands of Tailspin one way or another, my body stiffened and my eyes closed, that it should end like this, I never saw that coming. My brain now lept off it's sofa causing my eyes to fly open at the exact moment there was a flash of light, a loud bang and..........
