Great 2 photos of a profession (type setter, printer) that's disappeared due to the advent of computers. These fellows knew their fonts and sizes, how to do layout with different fonts, etc. and many did it faster than we do it on computers! Thanks for posting these and reminding us of pre-computer days! Keep up the good work! :-)

I would still be hand-setting type if it weren't for arthritis in my hands; so I use the computer for preparing stuff and the Thompson for numbering and so on.
