Description

I stopped the render at 94% after 1h 12 minutes... It is a quick one and I have still a lot to learn.. but for a comicstory creator such render times are not do-able..

Well, that's just one thing. But it is natural to dark lit scenes. It's not different with Lux-Render either and it seems to be with all other render engines based on physical lighting systems. But the result is often worth the waiting ;-) How ever what concernes me more is that if Poser fails to withstand against Daz we will soon be faced with content that is protected by DRM and DAZ is dictating what we have to place how, where, and when on our PC. You will always have to be online to connect to the DRM server for verification. If their DRM server is down or your internet connection not available, you won't prorbably have access to your payed content. In future it can become even worse: you probably don't ever get your Stuff on your HD but just "rent" it and if they withdraw content you'll probably have no access to them anymore. That way they will be able to force you allways to the newer stuff and draw your money out of your pocket. I know this is a very pesimistic scenario, but the foundation is allredy layed with their DAZ-Connect stuff and it would be the first company in the world weighting the benefit of the user higher than their opportunities to make more money...

this is the fear i have too. Early signs were stonemason and DMP.. later the take over of RDNA and the dissapearance of almost all Poser material of AlfaSeed

I jumped back to Poser 11. and will no longer go along with Genesis
