Description
I bought a Canon 2X Extension to use with my 70-200 Canon lens 2.8 instead of buying a large telephoto.
this was hand held shooting another neighbor's tree with blossoms

Wow, 1/1250 sec at f/5.6 and focal length 330mm, all this at ISO 250 in a garden with shadows :-) I guess you don't need to fear sports events from now on, haha... I wonder if there will be any distortion with the 2x extension? Did you try some achitectural shots to check this? Personally I love using a loooong tele for portraits because of the extremely small DOF, just make sure the eye nearest to you is in the crisp zone? Great shot and motive here, I like it very much.

You're way farther along than here. My forsythia is just thinking about trying to bloom.

in principle, an extension ring is used on a fixed lens length but on a 70-200 zoom lens, the focus risqque to be imparfaite..au least there must be a bit of vignetting! !! photo published does not seem to have such defects! BRAVO, your ZOOM must be of great quality !!!

Looks nice and sharp! Yeah, once you start going above about 200 - 300mm, those lenses really get expensive. Not that the others are cheap by any means...
