Description

along side the rode is this beautiful valley where the deer sometimes wander. I found out that it is aptly named as I decided to go down there to hunt. Going down the hill was okay; had to doge some stumps and logs. Coming back up was a completely different story - had zig zag up the hill - I hadn't realized how steep the hill really was.

I believe that is what is known as working for your food. Looks like some of the places I get myself in.

I would have been afraid of slipping on the way down

I was hiking up a steep hill called Kidd Pk in the Sierras and a deer went bounding passed me - it seemed like he was floating and just pushing with with all four legs - it was impressive. I thought I was doing good until then - lol. Great capture Mike 😃

Oh yes, I remember hillsides like this. Whenever I get the urge to go hiking around places like this I lie down until the feeling goes away.

Flip that is steep. Girls would love run in there. Perhaps I wouldn't as I may loose them to deer hunting 😄 xx

What goes down must come up again, eh? I do better going up than I do going down these days, the old ankles aren't what they used to be!

That does look like a pretty steep dropoff, Mike! Just remember... If it's 50 feet down, it's 100 feet back up! :-P

Amazing looking area, the bank does look very steep in the pic. Mike.

It looks quite slippery with the small rocks, debris and grassy areas.

Glad you made it up without falling !
