Description

They had come early this year to the smiling rock sanctuary. Maybe because they so longed for the changing season and finally the time, when there would be food abundance they arrived early at the pillar with their offerings, neatly packed in a caned box. Each year at the icelight day, they came here with the meager leftover from the last year as an offering for the gods and also a plea to fill their baskets again for another year of the icecyclus. When the light of the cold sun came up glaring and made the sanctuary pilar casting it's shadow in a paralel line to the smiling rocks, exactly than was time to give the offerings to the sea. And within the day they hoped the wonder would repeat itself this year as well and the huge schoals of tasty fish would come again and give them enough to live for half a year and enough to stockpile until the next Icelight.
