Description
Taken at the Budapest Zoo. I don't remember exactly what species this was. It was fairly large, probably about three or four feet from head to tail...

A perfect portrait of this rather handsome creature.

Superb capture my friend. God bless.

It looks like a small/young komodo dragon. I checked several photos on the Internet before settling for this. They can run dreadfully fast and swallow very large animals. Nice photo of this fellow. Keep up the good work. I appreciate your photos. :-)

You may be right. I'm used to seeing an elongated snout on komodo dragons, but maybe it's not as pronounced on younger ones.

I like how you chose to capture him resting his head on the rock.
