this has the lighting of a 17th C. Dutch painting. Rembrandt would've been at home here. Wonderful lighting and golden hues, surrounded by rich darks. And yes, those eyes are penetrating. Great that two of them looked right at you. I love the light here, I love an almost gentle softness to the hard lines. A wonderful capture of a "circle" of meerkats. Who knew that Budapest was going to give up these riches, next to the cornucopia of your street, architectural, and other cultural shots from that city...
