Description
My workflow consist of DAZ Studio - version 4.9 Pro. 64-bit mode for Windows 10. Using the Iray render engine, About 3 days or so composing in DAZ Studio & about 47 minutes & 12 seconds rendering & about 30 minutes or so postwork in The GIMP. The base figure here is Genesis 3 Female. She is NEW and hot off the press. She is Incredibly Amazingly Beautiful P3D Fukiko. She is Created by P3Design. And is sold exclusively at daz3D.
Hello fellow artists and Friends I hope this Image finds you in a good mood and in good spirits... Just wanted to give you all a little update. I did just max out my Ram and I really honestly can't say it has a big effect on the graininess in Iray. But however everything else seems to be faster I guess I'm not really out anything for doing it butt the light set that I mentioned in my previous images is why I have such an amazing render as you see it and as well as amazing render times. Which I'm sure you've noticed when you pick them up, They're on sale right now so I think everyone needs to not walk but run and go get them. But that's just a quick update on where i am right now, the next step for me though is a 500 watt power supply cord or more so I can get another video card and then I'll have to I guess I needed the GTX 980 and I end up with a GTX 740 so I think I need another GTX 740 what do You all think ? I'm a little scared to do that in fear that I may burn up or max out something... I don't know what to do next.

Beautiful outstanding work. This is so very lovely. As to your technical question. As long as the Power Supply you are using has the wattage required to support the system configuration, the upgraded Graphics Card will work just fine. Most higher end graphics cards are cooled by an on-board fan so they won't be dependent on box fans. The other factor to consider is that the card you choose is compatible with your Operating System. If yes, then at worst you will have to update driver software but not to worry. Most of that happens when you do the install. Since you use IRAY you will want to be sure the card you buy is supported for DAZ 4.8 GPU rendering. Most newer NVIDIA cards are supported. That way you can benefit by offloading rendering to the GPU, not the CPU. If you have any questions, drop me a line and I can help.

I do all my renders on a 780ti, it cost me a bundle when i bought it, but it was well worth it, of course I had to soak down on a power supply to handle it too. Another 780ti would be nice but that's not in my budget any time soon, so this will have to do. But as a side bonus, Fallout 4 looks amazing lol.

GORGEOUS! I haven't notice any "graniness" in any of your images. On the contrary, they look beautifully clear to me. But, you're right--more memory isn't going to effect that. It should give you more speed and let you load larger scenes without crashing, but I doubt that it's going to effect the way that your image looks either in DS or Poser.
