Very cool work on these cracks, the third and fourth ones make great abstracts. ☺

OH WOW! I love that crack in all the ways, but the original can be a great use for a mixed image using blend mode. You cant get a proper crack surface now a days.

It's amazing how different each one is, while holding the same line formations; the bottom one looks like brains! Great work, Harry!

I love helle's "you can't get a proper crack surface now a days". Well, come to Chicago, you'll see plenty of cracked surfaces...And I agree with Denise too. As is often the case in your themes and variations, the original could stand by itself: a really fine study of cracks and scintillating pebbles embedded in a gray surface. A bristling abstract, typical of your street and sidewalk work.
Then it's off to the races. 2 is a jazzy undulating thing, with lots of rivulets running across the surface. And your light is very fine, making it come alive. (I love the brown grays in the cracks too.) Fractal-like, in fact. The 3d seems to take you to a deeper, night-eerie place, with purples and electrical-current lines. And strong outlining, and almost a deathly halloween feeling. It could be a super closeup of someone's skin, if they had a really alarming skin condition...And the last one---yep, Denise is right: Brains! Well, brains mixed with porridge and caramel and---get this---impressions of tons of teeth all jammed together. Kind of a dentist's fantasy. If it weren't all gray, it could be edible! Great place to end. Fine montage, Harry, and again, that original is up-there with all your best sidewalk and street shots. I love this. (And I like your green dividing lines. I really like that color.)
