Description
I've been posting photos from my Danube cruise for months now, so I've decided it's time to move onto other things. Haven't been very inspired to take photos lately, so a couple from my archives today. About a year ago, I posted two photos of a beautiful sunset over Winchester Bay on the Oregon coast & I found one more that is a little different (more blue than yellow & red as the previous ones were)...

Because of the softness of the detail, and the gentle glow, it has the feeling of a dream. Or a scene seen through a magic or crystal ball. I love the fish in the foreground---or maybe those are plants? Whatever they are, they have a ghostly beautiful presence. And the lights along the shore lead into the painterly whites and blues above and below. Beautiful sweep and softness. A real mood piece.
