Hi, I am Barbara and live in Lincolnshire. I love nothing better than walking with my 3 dogs, (Large Munsterlanders) and taking the camera along. Iam afraid my photographic skills are not very good, I just point and click & hope for the best. Sometimes I do take some nice shots!!
I have lived with this breed since 1986, before that I had border collies. I was told when getting my first Munster, Jenna, I would become addicted and I sure was, owning 7 of this breed over the years.
Although Munsters are a working gundog, afraid I couldn't shoot anything, so we do other things like, showing, obedience and heelwork to music.
The girls are all different & I hope to show that in their pictures.
I would like to thank my good friend Janeeden for persuading me to get started.
Video's & songs for the girls can be seen on www.jendellas.com

I've always hated this sort of aberration . So cruel.

Words fail me on how I feel about this type of inhumane treatment! I think that what really bothers me is that the owners were not called out on this.

I also don't feel this is natural, it makes the dog seem to be in pain and cowering. Sad!

Aw it really seems so cruel !
It is hard to understand why Crufts/ and or Other Shows allow these pets to compete.
I know nothing about the rules and regulations of these Competitions, but seeing this pic. and reading your story it appears some changes need to be made for the sake of the Pets.
Thanks for sharing Barbara.

Poor creature, I don't know what to say. Maybe beat the owners into a coma to start with.

At first I thought the man was trying to get a recalcitrant dog to sit, but reading the text made me rather upset about how breeders create sick animals because they can do it. But is such necessary or appropriate? Having this as a part of the competition encourages this type of "miss"-breeding. By the way, is the image retouched in Photoshop? Or is it a frame capture from a video? It seems a bit fuzzy. Keep up the good work! :-)

That poor dog doesn't look right, that should not be allowed!
