Very true, however there are means within the .net to create an artificial family...

http://virtualworldsforteens.com/games-where-you-can-have-a-family/ ** with pets that never die, and there is no sickness. How simple this makes life :)

Very fine commentary on what many are becoming. There is such an allure to living in Cyber. There, we try to control our own narrative but when reality sets in, we are just tiny little bits of data controlled by the whims of the machine.

It's like being crammed on a rush-hour train.

Today I thought about going back to Facebook on a regular basis. However I find it too time-consuming and I didn't find the right connections. It's really a poor substitute for face-to-face, PHYSICAL SPACE connections.

Others may (and perhaps should) see things differently, but for me Facebook in particular is more suited for extroverts. As an introvert I need another option, which I've yet to find.

Thanks for the thought-provoking art, Guilband.

Reminds me of italian Futurism. Why not consider social networks as virtual dynamism of the XXIth century ? Well done

A fascinating look at what our 'connected' society has become... It's fun having lots of on-line friends, but I'd like even more to meet them in person. Well done!

Shades of FACEBOOK in this fabulous interpretation of unrequited friendship. Reminds me of the crazy mirrors at the arcade.

You always have strange ideas! I agree with your comment about the network. But I have met in their country very interesting and nice people ( in France, USA, Germany, Turkey, Portugal ) who are friends now thanks to Renderosity.
