Scarlett the Malkavian ready to go fight Big Bad. Scarlett is my character for a Vampire the Masquerade campaign my husband was running. We played the campaign for a year before wrapping up last week. Hubby ran a most excellent game. Scarlett, like all Malkavians, is insane yet has high courage, so she's ready to go battle. One of her Malkavian quirks is that she always carried a stuffed cat named "Miss Kitty Fantastico" (totally stole that name from Buffy the Vampire Slayer). As we progressed through the campaign, Miss Kitty became a notable part of our coterie. And when we were all granted favors from the Prince of the Camarilla, Scarlett asked for incendiary and flash bombs. Little did the coterie know that later, she went online & ordered 20 more replicas of Miss Kitty, or MKF as we often referred to her. Needless to say, they were quite surprised when during one battle, Scarlett pulled on MKF's tail and threw her in a great explosion at the enemy. (The cat was rigged so pulling the tail was like pulling the pin on a grenade.) She is also a kleptomaniac and was very fond of her Ventrue friend Marqus' hat. After trying to steal it many times, he finally bought one just for her. For the final nights of gameplay, we knew we were headed into end campaign. She suited up in a kevlar vest and strapped 5 MKF bombs (AKA: "Pussy Bombs" LOL) to her belt. She equip her daggers and put on the hat before marching into an epic dungeon crawl with her strange mix of vampire friends. Hubby has plans for a future campaign - Craigen Heights part two... a very bleak and dystopian medieval style future. We just devoured a fishing village after awakening from a 6,000 year torpor. Just glad we all managed to survive. I really wasn't sure during that last fight, we were hanging on for dear un-death. Can't wait for part two!
