Computer geek extarodinaire, I love to tinker with gadgets and tech items to get them to do what I want. I'm either logically artistic or artisically logical. I'm also rude, crude, semi-barbaric, socially unacceptable, and totally psychotic. On the bright side - I am potentially harmless. I'm currently trying to write some short stories about the fae as well as a novel on those same fae as well as two other novels. The programs I have for photo and image editing are: Photoimpact from Ulead, Adobe Photoshop 7 and Corel Paint Shop Pro 2X. Recently I've added DAZ Studios as well as Terragen, Blender and Google Sketch to my list of programs crowding my hard-drive.  All this and much more on an old Pentium III 450 with 396 Megs of memory and operating Windows XP. It does get interesting at time.As of December 26, 2008, I have added Vue 7 Pioneer to my list of reason of why I'm going insane.
As of January 2010 I upgraded to a new HP 2 dual core processor with 6 gigs onboard mem with 4 gig powerboost and 2.07 terabytes of Hard drivesMy email is faemike55@gmail.com

Down the creek 'WITHOUT A PADDLE' (and not up, as in this instant) LOL - BTW, the 2004 movie comes to mind here...
this could be just what the Doctor ordered for Mark, a serene moment for reflections and let the world go by...

Mark (wysiwig) said he prefers sitting on the ground, but he has trouble getting up: If I sat on the ground a week ago? I'd still be there today. Sitting on grounds pretty much vacated my life about 7 years ago. (It left with 60. Bye-bye agility! Nice knowin' ya!)
I zoomed this shot, and what a great surprise! The detail not only on the bench, but on the grass and gravel, is just scintillating. The bench is in a sea of gentle nature, and I love the river back there (I assume that's a river), and the trees, and mountains in the background. And the meeting of those diagonals of river and grass-line, etc. It's a lonnnnng shot, gentle and sweeping. (Rod does long gigantic shots too, which also sweep beautifully.) And as for the bench, it's like a zen resting place---all alone and quiet, surrounded by sweeping landlines and looking very inviting. Thank you, Mike, this is a big gentle and buddhist-like picture, and I appreciate the thought that went with it. (I have some sick people in my life right now, and you don't know how inviting this scene looks. When you're surrounded by massive urban sprawl---incl suburban sprawl---a scene like this is paradise. Brigitte has it right.) Thank you! And thank you for your constant presence in my gallery, and your always supportive and kind comments, and of course your art. I hope to return to regular commenting soon, I've missed a number of your pieces (though I've seen them all). Thank you for this beautiful vision and thought. I appreciate it very much. (And I hope people zoomed: It's a whole other universe, full size...)

What a great Idea to put a bench there for 'Birthday-Mark', Mike. He will for sure enjoy the large view, with that beautiful blue river at the end. Haha, on your picture it seems like the river goes uphill. But maybe all rivers do that in USA
