Happy Birhtday dear Marc, yesterday the birds in my garden reveal it to me - Smile! I hope you have had a real happy Day and I want to thank you for all the lovely comments you have made on my work, I simply love reading them and seeing my images also through your eyes. The used background is from a FA-Artist, the birds are from DeviantArt and the mised tubes are from my norwegian friend Heidi!

This is one of your most mystical images, Ute, you've created a vision of spring emerging out of primal waters, and filled with silence and song all at the same time. I love the two women (spring goddesses, I assume?) telling us to be quiet, so we can hear the new songs of the birds above. I love that you call this "Listen"---to tell everyone to listen closely to the new spring. Like so many of your people, these goddesses are adorned beautifully. Here, they wear lush lace and flowers, with beautiful lace sleeves, and a brooch or crown of jewels---typical of how you clothe/adorn so many people in your art. They're like spirits who suddenly 'appear', the first day of spring, to remind us that spring has arrived. And I love the way that tree seems to grow out of one of the goddesses' heads; and it's a beautiful tree. And you have these purple-winged birds (robins?) which add more beautiful hue to the image. And a beautiful white sun, and lots of mist to create mystery...

I love your dark shadows---deep dark purples and blacks. And the lights that swirl in the picture, like lights inside the ocean. A lot of your images combine fantasy with very real backdrops. But this is almost a pure dream, and it's gorgeous. Thank you so much, Ute, this is beautiful; and thank you for your thoughts too, I appreciate them greatly. It's my pleasure to comment on your work, as you know I love everything you do (this image is a good example of why). And thanks, too, for including that video of robins in a spring rain: I studied bird calls years ago, and we actually wrote out their songs, and played them on keyboards. I don't know birds' appearances as well, unfortunately; but that video has lots of bird-songs in it. Thank you, this is a beautiful, magical birthday gift, and I'm very grateful that you did it for me. A wonderful spring to you and all your loved ones!
