You're so good at creating mood...this woman seems to be out of some macabre theater, or maybe a dance performance; she seems to have a mask on, and a costume/body suit that she'd dance in, or do a performance in. And she's bent over in a dancer's pose, pondering, contemplating, perhaps lamenting. And she's surrounded by a sorcerer's room, with skulls, candles, a crystal ball, spider and web, and other odds and ends, including a high colored ball, and a mouse---who appears to be a companion. What a fascinating world this is, she's all crouched, perhaps the victim of one of her own spells; and her room feels like a crypt, or the room in a castle where they put the "crazy relative" to keep her safe. But the picture's not safe, with that huge moon (suiting the word luna-tic) and a mysterious dusky sky. Having worked with dancers years ago (as a musician), I can't get the image of a dancer out of my head; but there's something ritual about this, almost like Japanese theater, where she's acting out an almost death-like ritual. Very evocative; and her head-band---with those springy hearts on top---bring home how crazy her state of mind is right now. Almost like she's playing the role of a clown...Powerful mood, and beautifully articulated. (And very well lit too...)
