Description
I went to Sedona, Page, Arizona - Cortez/ Durango ,Colorado then drove through New Mexico. I visited Mesa Verde,CO. I was going for a tour to Rainbow Arch,AZ on the Colorado River. scheduling had a conflict and I was unable to do it. I left home at 1:20 AM last Saturday and drove straight through to Flagstaff,AZ. went to Sedona then cut through the area between Phoenix and Flagstaff. the same day I went to Page . visited Horseshoe Bend again. then went to Lower Antelope. the next morning I drove to CO. for some sight seeing there. there was a blizzard in the forecast that I did not know about. the next morning there was some light snow on my 4Runner and 27 degrees . several highways were closed because of the blizzard. I decided to go to New Mexico driving through the west side to the central part. there is lots of beautiful scenery there as well. I drove from Durango without stopping for sleep reaching home at 2:15 AM
I forgot where I took this picture

Fantastic view, glad you had a good trip! The furthest I've been in the last year is from my bedroom to the dining table, so I much enjoy seeing your adventures!

Hope you had a great time. Guess you do need rest if you can't recall were you took it. A nice area shot though.

Great shot Richard. You did a lot of driving and you were lucky that you missed the snow in Denver - 17 inches in 36 hours. My kind of driving - and yes, a lot of beautiful scenery. Western new Mexico is beautiful too. Have you ever been to the Carlsbad Caverns?

Beautiful shot...and you're a crazy man! Many years ago we did the entire state of NM in 3 days. It was fun going up, down and all around. Now, that kind of trip would probably kill me. LOL
