Description

I've been using Vue for a little over a week now, and I finally have an image that I like. The camera was intentionally positioned at a slightly odd angle to try and create the feeling of a human perspective more than a camera. The lighting was also kept intentionally subtle and subdued in an attempt to create a more realistic image. Many thanks to Kromekat and Shannon for their wonderful textures and models; this picture would not have been possible without them.

Thanks to all for the very generous comments. My first two weeks with Vue have bordered on an almost psychotic obsession! (I'm sure that there are more than a few of you out there who have some familiarity with that tremendous initial rush you get with Vue.) The Vue community is a really nice and talented group, and I'm glad to be a part of it. I tried all of the other "terrain" renderers out there, but Vue's renderer is for me the hands down winner. It's a pleasure to log on each day and see all of the inspiring work in the Vue galleries. Thanks to all for giving me such a warm welcome into the Vue family.
