The do seem rather ominous in the half-light, but I'll bet they are leafing out now, soon to be a source of some shade in that famous California heat! Excellent and very moody shot!

well I guess ol' wolf (wolfenshire) didn't have much to say about the art, lol...I always wonder how people send wishes but somehow forget to say anything about the art...ah well...Another of your bleak and (yes) post-apocalyptic captures of bare trees against a somewhat mournful blue-gray sky. With touches of building tops and a few lamps (and some wires, etc)---but not enough to take away the feeling that this is either the end of the world, or an outskirt town---maybe with some industry---where most people have left long ago. As Denise says, these trees will be leafing soon, but boy they sure look like they've seen their last leaf. And the hues are actually richer than at first glance: Some greens, blues, whites, grays...another of your fine and poetic fog shots, making patches of your city feel like the days after the atomic holocaust hit. Eerie and beautiful.
Harry, I've said it before, but let me say it again: When I skip around in sessions like these, I in no way regard the non-commented works as "lesser": Far from it. I just have to skip, after long absences, so I pick representative samples. It's one of the drawbacks of long absences; esp at my snail's pace in writing. But I don't like the other images any less (and I've seen them all). Just wanted to reiterate...
