When I first discovered this macro world of amazing color and design I never expected that 22 months later I would still be posting so many different types of moths and bugs....Many of these creatures are only fingernail size which with the aid of an 18mp Sony HX20V camera and Photoshop it has been possible to present them to the world. To the naked eye they appear as dark shapes which most people would not notice...All these pictures are taken at night on our upper balcony and none of them have been harmed. We live next to a rainforest which may account for the amazing variety.....I hope you enjoy them, and thanks in advance for any views & comments..

Looking at all the photos of these little "buggers", I'm amazed at the richness of species and kinds of critters in each species. A real cornucopia! And looking at each one, the intricacy of their construction is amazing. All have the same components, but yet are so different. It's so I almost see the being inside the shell, and not see them as bird food. Although I've never liked shelled creatures (except horse shoe crabs), your photos are opening my eyes to the world of insects. Thanks. Keep up the good work! :-)
