A fantastic scene, Dee! Wow - the lighting looks like it came out of Vue. A wonderful piece!
Arawen would go nuts here - she just loves trinkets and shiny things...

This is my first comment in your gallery, and it's a visual delight. (Thank you for coming to my gallery, and for faving my gallery. I'll be returning the favor.) This is obviously a big sprawling bazaar; but your lighting, the way you let things stand out and others recede, your sweep of space in the courtyard, and your sense of imagination make it a bazaar of the mind. I love your choices, from those huge metal vase-flasks to the carpets to the bins of grains/beans/beads, to the boxes, and the goats. (Though they look more like llamas to my untrained eyes.) I love that you have the carpets rolled, and the pileup of boxes (Trinkets gets good play here). And some deep maroon vases too, which make fine contrasts with all that brassy gold. And the guy in a white trench coat/hat, looking like a salesman and part spy...someone you might wanna think twice about, before giving him your money. I also like the architectural detail, and that you cropped it (so to speak) without sky---so we're put right in the middle of the bazaar. The whites of the guy and goats are what take us into the scene, but then we go wandering into everything else, incl the fascinating architecture in the background. A real carnival...You put this in the category "World Events/Social Commentary": I'm not sure if I get all the commentary, unless it's about consumer culture wanting everything and at cheap prices. What I do get is a sprawling scene with a guy who we're drawn to but probably shouldn't believe, lol; or maybe he's just desperate to get rid of all this stuff. It's wonderfully done, no matter what, esp when zoomed full size. Bravo.
