How close they came to the door. They made me chuckle as they were talking non stop. Unfortunately I didn't have any duck food or else they could have eaten :o)))) Thanks for all the lovely comments & favs, so, so appreciated. xxx

My friend at the coffee stand feeds them thawed frozen corn; I break up graham crackers into very very small chunks and they like that too. They are so funny when they do those quiet little quacks, it's like a constant quiet conversation with each other.

I stop and quack with about a dozen of these every morning as I pass the duck pond on my way to work. Sometimes I have bread along when it's winter and the pond is almost frozen over. They then try to climb up my legs to get some food! They tend to be rather spoiled, even chasing after small children who are learning to feed them. And, yes, I've been inadvertently bitten! Sea gulls, crows and ravens run from them as they come - rather funny to see this. Keep up the good work! :-)
