Description

Without giving away any spoilers, I thought I'd post a look at one of the several widely dispersed T.N.A. Headquarters buildings. This one is sequestered somewhere deep within the Rocky Mountains. You'll see a bit more of it soon. Working on Page 26 - we're nearing the end of Chapter 5. There will be a short break, then we'll dive into Chapter 6... This was done in Vue 10, with a few additions and enhancements in Photoshop CC. I started the render (@ 3360 X 2100 pixels) Friday night around 9:30 PM. It finally finished Sunday evening around 7:15 PM. So..... Around 45.75 hours. I will soon be moving Vue onto my other machine which will hopefully speed things up. I hope to upgrade to the newest version of Vue at some point. Which brings me to....... I have to apologize for being so far behind on comments so much of the time lately. To be honest, I've been working my A&& off at work, and am usually pretty exhausted by the time I get home. Hopefully there's some relief in sight. Plus last week I felt like crud most of the week. I'm doing quite a bit better now... Plus I've been trying to work several other projects into whatever nooks and crannies of time I can find among the dust bunnies under my desk! LOL Most are T.N.A. related, and I think you'll enjoy them if I ever get them done! I'm also working on a major update of my personal website, and also opening a site on Patreon. More on that later. For now, this is long enough, so I'll sign off and get my silly butt to bed! Thanks for dropping by, and for any comments you wish to leave. I really appreciate them all, and all of you! Hope you all have a great rest of the week and weekend!

Lol, Tara. Yes, it's very photographic. But it's also very graphic, and you did a whale of a job on the light, details, shadow, textures, all of it. The broad bleaching-light on that facade---left half---is stunning, next to the many nuanced hues of the leaves. And you got real texture on the stone, in balconies, in the center 'tower' (decorative I assume), and in the mullions, door, pillar, etc. Fine, razor sharp shadows against the building. And a wonderful amount of detail in leaves, trunks, branches, etc. And I love that white/black tree on the far right---it really brings that side to life. Rod, this is terrific---it's truly 3D, and you nuanced and articulated it beautifully. More of this please! (yeah, like it takes you 2 minutes---I can't believe that render time!) A truly terrific render. I hope everyone sees these full size.
