Description


"Anti-Solinoid Patrol" At the outbreak of the Solinoid Conflict the Unified Military (under United Nations command) was still rushing to complete development of the new VGF-Type fighters. In the interim, conventional aircraft such as the VT-1 filled in the arsenals of front-line combat units. Designed by Earth Avionics on the frame of the F-14D Tomcat, the VT-1 Supercat featured Vectored Thrust and a heavier weapons load-out, though some-what shortened range compared to its predecessor. Ultimately the VT-1 would be used as the basis for the VGF-14 Wildcat Variable Geometry Fighter family, and this in turn would lead to the YF-35 Warthog Development Program and the AVF-35 J Wildhog Advanced Variable Fighter (intended originally to be an upgrade package for the VGF-14). Though replaced by the VGF-14 Wildcat in front-line service, the VT-1 remains in use as an Air Superiority Fighter in various countries under UN Military Command. Impressive, you use hexagon for modelling, but for UV mapping ? Everytime I try to perform uv mapping with hexagon, it's ending very shortly by a fatal error...

I set the material zones as I work on the modeling in Hexagon, then use UV Mapper Pro to properly lay out the maps and set up the templates for later texturing. Hexagon's internal mapping isn't very good on the best of days so I only ever use it to establish the material zones and that's about it... :)

Yep.. it's still around... there's the free version and a paid version with additional features and tools that aren't available in the free one...
