Description
the only place in the USA that four states has common corners. New Mexico, Arizona,Colorado, and Utah.
there were so many people waiting their turn to go out and have their picture by their friends, that it was hard getting a capture with no people
I have been there before but with who is a question. I am thinking it was Jock (jocko500)

I fully intend to get to that area some day before I croak. We went through NM & AZ 35 years ago and saw the Painted desert and the Grand Canyon on our way to California. I've read all of Tony Hillerman's books and find his descriptions of the area fascinating. Thank you for all the beautiful photos you post of there.

Hmmm... when I was a kid in the 1950s I heard there was a house located here with the living room in one state, the bathroom in another, the kitchen in a third and the bed room in a 4th. LUCKY they didn't have to pay toll between each state! Imagine, having to go to the bath room and need to pay toll in 2 states to get there? What a crazy! Looks like the house is gone, or that it was a good yarn! Keep up the good work! :-)

Wonderful spot, first time I was aware of this was from a TV series I watched. A lady had gone there to flip a coin to make a difficult life decision depending on which state the coin landed in. Great photo!

There was a funny scene in the new Lampoons movie about this!
