Description
On a clear, cool and windy April Sunday morning, sans dog, I explored the woodlands around our old Family pond site.
I would tell most that my eyes watered from a chilling breeze, but must admit a certain sentiment for an untamed wilderness may have been a factor.
With left foot soaked, from a misstep into a feeder stream, I saw the shiny green gleam of poison ivy brushing past my face and felt a tugging at my clothing as deer briers made every step a potential fall. Not to be deterred from sharing a part of Nature which I have come to enjoy, I trudged on, hearing, but never seeing, the beaver artist which created our scene.
We hope that you enjoy this composite view.

No wonder your eyes watered. What a gorgeous place that busy beaver created.

These places are treasures, and are disappearing far too rapidly. Thanks for sharing, Kenn!
