Description

Hello Rendosians ! I'm glad to see you with a brand new image ! First of all, I want to explain that this image has NOTHING to do with the Ku Klux Klan, even if the costumes are almost the same. The men I've represented are called "Guglmänner" : they belong to a secret and very old society who buried the victims of the Black Death in the Middle Ages. Later they became the guardians of the Bavarian kings' burials. They wear a black costume with a hood which gave them their name (Gugl= Hood in german language) Nowadays, our Guglmänner have a serious problem : the mysterious death of the last Bavarian King, Louis II of Bavaria, in 1886. Their beloved king died in mysterious circumstances : he was found drowned in Lake Starnberg. The details of his death are unclear and it is commonly supposed that Louis was murdered because he spent too much money in building his wonderful castles (one of the most famous is Neuschwanstein...). It is also true that his death just happened a few days after Louis was declared insane and unable to rule his kingdom. Was he really mad or was it an excuse to keep him away from the throne? In this case, a murder would be a way to hide the fact that Louis wasn't insane at all ! The Guglmänner is a group of persons who still resist and try to solve this enigma in order to restore the truth about Louis II of Bavaria. They still protest during the king's death jubilee with this message written on their shield : "It was a murder !" Want to help them to solve the german most mysterious enigma or simply want to know more about them? http://www.guglmann.de/deutsch/index.htm *************************** Cette image est pour toi mon cher ami Karma. *************************** Have a great day or night ! Hugs Virginie
