Description
Interpretation of 'Lady with the veil by Alexander Roslin (Malmö, 1768). See the original here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_Roslin. Somehow, I made a mirror image print and started from that one. We were making 'icons' in a different style, i.e. famous paintings in our own or another style in our painting club. This is supposed to be close to Pop Art. It is in acrylics on canvasboard (30 * 30 cm). The lady is Roslin's wife, Marie Suzanne Giroust-Roslin.
I generally do not upload paintings here, but given that I like Cyve's wonderful works so much, I thought it a good idea to show one of mine. Not half as wonderful as Cyve's, but, hé, I am only a simple amateur.

Well, you can see actual shadows and highlights, because I tend to use paint rather roughly. So there is indeed a bit of real bump there.
